ESG platform sentra.world secures $2 million in seed funding

Their SaaS products, including sentra.calculus, sentra.network, and sentra.portfolio, empower organizations to decarbonize their value chains.

Sentra.world, an ESG SaaS platform, has successfully raised $2 million in a seed funding round. The funding was led by Avaana Capital, with RPG Ventures and Golden Sparrow Ventures also participating. The company intends to utilize the seed funding to further its sectoral climate intelligence initiatives, develop new products, expand its team, and form strategic partnerships.

 

Co-founded by Harsh Choudhry and Vikas Upadhyay, Sentra.world specializes in providing innovative solutions for Scope 3 emissions, enabling businesses to achieve ESG excellence. Their SaaS products, including sentra.calculus, sentra.network, and sentra.portfolio, empower organizations to decarbonize their value chains and drive sustainability within the industrial sector.

 

Choudhry stated, “Our focus on Scope 3 emissions allows us to promote sustainability throughout the value chains of industrial businesses in India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, with plans for future expansion into Europe. Our objective is to acquire 500 industrial companies and 500,000 suppliers as valued customers, managing 1% of global emissions within the next five years.”

 

Avaana Capital manages the Avaana Climate and Sustainability Fund, which is a venture capital fund dedicated to climate-tech investments. The fund focuses on climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience, with thematic areas including energy transition and resource management, mobility and supply chains, and sustainable agriculture and food systems.

sentra.calculus, sentra.network, and sentra.portfolio offer industry-specific measurement methodologies, simulations for emissions reduction, user-friendly dashboards, adherence to global reporting standards, and gamified data reporting.
