New Delhi: Following are the top engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu according to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for the year 2022. While Indian Institute of Technology Madras tops the list, it is followed by National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli and Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. NIRF 2022 has ranked the top 200 engineering colleges in the country and has also provided the rank band between 201 and 300 (without specific ranking.)
There are 35 engineering colleges from Tamil Nadu in the top 200 ranks, eleven the range of 201-250 and six in the range of 251-300.
