Treebula is Sweden’s leading digital marketplace for timber trading between forest owners and forest companies, involving more than 30,000 Swedish forest owners.
In a world that requires rapid adaptation to climate change in all sectors, forests play a crucial role. Recognizing this importance, many industries are increasingly turning to wood and forests to find part of the solution to a more sustainable future.
This change in demand requires accurate and easily accessible information, and Swedish company Treebula aims to fill this gap by providing forest management services such as forest management plans, the carbon market and comprehensive information on different forest management methods and their impact on the climate and economy.
Treebula has just announced an investment of 2. million euros from Industrifonden and the existing owners. The new investment fuels Treebula’s mission to be a leading source of forestry information and a digital platform that connects forest owners, buyers and other stakeholders.
Adam Aljaraidah, CEO and co-founder of Treebula, says: “Interest in forests and their various applications is growing rapidly. The demand for the various values of the forest is growing not only in Sweden, but also internationally. The time is. perfect to continue the natural channel between forest owners and those who want to realize the true potential of the forest. ”
In addition, the new capital enables further enhancement of Treebula’s digital platform, expanding services and coverage both domestically and internationally.
Treebula was founded by Per Hedberg and Adam Aljaraidah in 2017 and was previously known as Virkesbörsen.
