New Delhi: Following are the list of the top engineering colleges in Telangana below the all-India rank of 200, the list of colleges in the rank range of 200 to 300 and the total list of engineering colleges in Telangana which applied for National National Institutional Ranking Framework -2020 under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
NIRF 2021: Top engineering colleges in Telangana
This study ranks engineering colleges across the country and the parameters for ranking include the following issues. “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception”.
As for as Telangana is concerned, eighty engineering colleges applied for the NIRF ranking and around fifteen colleges made it to the top 200 engineering colleges across the country. There were five colleges in the 201-250 rank and around six colleges in the 251-300 rank.
While the Indian Institute of Technology led the rankings with an all India rank of 8, National Institute of Technology, Warangal came second with a rank of 19 and International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad came third with a all-india rank of 43. Of the 15 colleges in the state that made it to the top 200 all-india rank, only two of them were outside Hyderabad. They were the National Institute of Technology, Warangal and SR Engineering College, Warangal.
When it comes to the 200-300 ranking, there were two colleges from outside Hyderabad. Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal and Vignan Institute of Technology and Science, Yadadri-Bhuvangiri make it to the list.
