New Delhi: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced the NIRF Rankings for 2020 today. The ranks which were scheduled to be announced in April were delayed due to Corona crisis.
NIRF rankings were launched in 2015 and the first ranks were announced in 2016. Since the first rankings, the number of categories has increased from four to nine.
NIRF 2021: Top engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh
NIRF rankings are awarded based on the following parameters – Teaching, Learning and Resources, Research and Professional Practices, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach and Inclusivity, and Perception.
Overall rank:
Andhra University: Rank – 36 / Score – 51.4
Sri Venkateswara University: Rank – 68 / Score – 46.14
Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation University: Rank -70 / Score – 45.89
Apart from these three in the top 100 in overall rankings, the following are also listed in the top 200 overall.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University – Anantapur
Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences Research Foundation – Amalapuram
Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College – Vijayawada
