Info on promoters and their background:
Rohit Prakash and Puneet Goyal, both founders are batchmates from their business school MDI Gurgaon, and both had a common love to serve learning and growth needs in school education, especially the underserved rural students.
Before starting iDream Education, both the founders worked in the school education space for more than five years and during that time both had an opportunity to work closely with government schools. That is when they realized that rural students who learn in local languages, have little access to quality digital content. Availability of local language content and easy to use digital learning hardware were the two gaps very evident.
