San Francisco: Complimenting India on its digital drive, Michael Dell, Chairman and CEO of Dell Technologies, says that he is impressed by what the nation is doing to rework its society and financial system.
“IndiaStack, for example, is a world-leading concept and as a techie, I get very inspired by what India is doing. It is an amazing government-led effort,” Dell stated in response to a query by IANS, whereas addressing the media on the Dell Technologies World 2018.
IndiaStack is a set of APIs that enables governments, companies, startups and builders to utilise a singular digital Infrastructure to unravel India’s issues in direction of presence-less, paperless and cashless service supply.
“Governments should understand that the Internet, broadband and fiber are really important in next generation of the society,” he stated.
Saying that 5G would expedite the digital transformation globally, he stated that “governments have to figure out 5G to amplify their productivity or else they will fall behind other countries.”
